1. Rustler 4x4 VLX models are available with two different types of chassis the 1^st chassis only supports a short LiPo Rustler battery(length within 137mm), and the 2^nd chassis supports a long and short LiPo battery. The short battery for Tra Rustler is shown below.

2. If your car uses the Tra ID connector, the adapter comes with batteries that may not fit.
